Drawing on specific parts of the southeastern aspect of the vineyard, the Astra delivers the dusty berry brightness and spice of the Dijon 667 clone on higher-elevation volcanic soils, complemented by the dark tones and richness of the Dijon 115 clone on sedimentary soils. The result is a delicate, more finesse-driven Pinot Noir that has echos of the kind of old world Pinot noir we love.
