This 2015 Riesling is from 43-year-old vines at the Tualatin Estates Vineyard, a site with Lauralwood soils near Forest Grove in the Willamette Valley. Richness and depth, precise minerality, fine floral notes, and delicate fruit are the hallmarks of the wines made from one of the oldest Riesling plantings in the Willamette Valley. Fermented dry, the bright acidity is rounded out by the partial use of neutral French oak, providing fleshiness to the wine while retaining the essential vibrancy of this noblest of varietals, resulting in a rich, complex, and food-friendly wine.
