Adventures in Old Wine (Deposit)

As I combed my collection for a variety of wines for the Personal Collection Mystery Cases, I did come a cross a few wines, 24 bottles all told, that I would consider likely past their peak. These wines can still be very interesting as they trend towards terciary characteristics (less fruit, more evolved phenolics, a change in color), but can often be fascinating and definitely educational. For the adventurous, I’m offering those two cases under the category “Adventures in Old Wine” for anyone that wants to explore. Sometimes some of these bottles can be spectacular.

The cost of this case is $150. When ordering this wine you will be charged a $25 non-refundable deposit. For those of you who receive your wine prior to January 10th, 2024, you will be charged the remainder of the amount due for your wine on January 10th, 2024. For those of you who receive your wine later than January 10th, you will be charged on the date you receive your wine, or on March 1st at the latest even if we have not yet coordinated a pickup or delivery.
