Following the theme of the vintage, the Lux, always the blend with the most muscle, takes it a little bit further with this vintage. Here, at just two barrels total volume, this wine is constructed from half each of four of our highest rated barrels: three from Pommard lots and one from a 777 lot, for a classic Lux blend emphasizing the Pommard clone on sedimentary soil at the base of the vineyard for structure, power and dark fruit, balanced with the highly complementary 777 clone from the upper elevation Jory volcanic soils, delivering companion higher tones of concentrated red fruit and minerality. 25% New French Oak. 14.2% Alcohol. 34.4% Whole Cluster Fermented.
