The Luminous Hills “silver label” in this extraordinarily early, warm and yet highly balanced vintage is a nineteen- barrel selection from a broad range of the diverse elements of the Luminous Hills vineyard, including six blocks, four clones (Pommard, 777, 667, and 115), and two soil types (Willakenzie sedimentary and Jory volcanic). This wine is always the “big picture” story of what Luminous Hills is all about and in the stunning 2015 vintage that means a rich, deep wine with many layers, but still with the signature elegance of Luminous Hills. 25% whole cluster fermented and barrel aged sixteen months in all French cooperage (20% new consisting of Cadus Allier, Marsannay Allier, Billion Vosges, and Remond Bertrange) for sixteen months.
