This 2013 Rosé of Cabernet is the delicate expression of one of our favorite blocks of Cabernet Franc. Farmed to be a Rosé to get the qualities we seek, with the first pick we harvested separately for a single varietal Cabernet Franc Rosé to be made in an old-world style. Not a simple saignée, but made from a direct press after eight days of skin contact at very cold temperatures, giving it the most delicate color and fruit character without any bitterness or astringency. Fermented in 100% neutral French oak, and then aged for six months, delivering a complex and savory Cabernet Franc Rosé that will pair with everything from summer salads or rich foods from the grill. Delightfully pink.
