Our Willamette Valley Chardonnay draws upon two cool, but otherwise highly distinct sites with a diverse set of soils and clones. The sedimentary soils and clone 76 from Gran Moraine Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA provide rich tropical qualities. The volcanic soils and clones 95 and 96 from the Willakia Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills deliver minerality and citrus notes. Together they combine to produce a broad expression of Chardonnay that is characteristic of what is rapidly becoming the signature white grape of the northern Willamette Valley, here producing a focused Chardonnay that is both vibrant and well rounded. Both the Gran Moraine and Willakia Vineyards are LIVE and Salmon Safe Certified.
