This single vineyard Chardonnay from the Gran Moraine Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA expresses a clear sense of place from the sedimentary soils in the western edge of the AVA near the coast range. Meticulously farmed, this Chardonnay yielded a small but superb quality crop in a difficult but long cool growing season. Native yeast fermentation, plus long aging in neutral French oak delivers balance and depth of character in a classic Chardonnay that is both crisp and round, as well as appointed with a broad range of range of fruit, minerality and texture.
