This 2010 Pinot Noir is a blend that incorporates the broad expression of five very distinct vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills, Yamhill-Carlton District, Ribbon Ridge and Dundee Hills. Soils range from the diverse set of volcanic and sedimentary soils each of these A V As are known for . In addition a wide selection of Pinot Noir clones are utilized to achieve a broad palette of aromas, textures and flavors, along with a small amount of whole cluster fermented fruit to spicy notes and layers of complexity. 2010 was a classic cool vintage, but one where long hang times achieved balance and vibrancy along with the elegance, complexity and expression of place that we cherish in our Oregon Pinot noirs.
